GN Separation has recently supplied three sets of GNLW364 (14inch) Dewatering Centrifuges for an overseas municipal sewage treatment project. These centrifuges are designed to meet the rigorous demands of dewatering and thickening applications in municipal and industrial wastewater sludge treatment.

The GNLW364 model, part of GN's T Series decanter centrifuges, features a beach angle of 8.5 degrees, extending the drying and dewatering area to enhance performance. This design ensures more efficient separation of solids and liquids, resulting in drier solid discharge. The centrifuges are capable of handling materials with large particle sizes, high-density differences, low viscosity, and high concentration, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, from municipal sewage to industrial wastewater.

Key features of the GNLW364 Dewatering Centrifuge include:

Material Construction: The main components are made of duplex stainless steel SUS2205 or SUS2304 through centrifugal casting, offering superior performance and durability compared to SUS304 and SUS316. This construction method avoids intergranular corrosion and ensures a longer service life.

Efficient Screw Blade Design: The screw blade, formed using CNC spiral blade equipment, provides higher slag conveying efficiency. The blade can also adopt a gradual change type to improve transport and press force efficiency, resulting in drier solids.

Optimized Dewatering Zone: The centrifuge features a large beach angle and medium pitch with a BD baffle plate, which separates the dewatering zone from the sedimentation zone. This design allows for deeper liquid pools and longer dewatering zones, enhancing processing capacity and reducing energy consumption.

Wear Resistance: The solid discharge port is fitted with a hard tungsten carbide sleeve for exceptional wear resistance. Additionally, the centrifuge includes a flexible overflow weir plate design to adjust the liquid pool depth according to different working conditions.

User-Friendly Maintenance: The collection box cover of the small model is assisted by a gas spring, while larger models feature a labor-saving lid opening device. This reduces labor intensity and facilitates equipment maintenance. The main bearing also adopts a hydraulic disassembly structure, minimizing the risk of damage during maintenance.

Advanced Monitoring and Safety: The centrifuge is equipped with a comprehensive monitoring and alarm system to ensure safe operation. It monitors parameters such as centrifuge speed, bearing temperature, vibration, and lubrication system oil pressure in real-time, automatically switching to plugging or shutdown procedures if abnormalities are detected.
