GN Solids Control has successfully delivered a complete set of drilling fluid solids control equipment for a 2000HP drilling rig to a European drilling contractor. The shipment includes three GNZS594K shale shakers, one GNZJ594K-3S16N mud cleaner, one GNZCQ360 vacuum degasser, and one GNLW363D decanter centrifuge.
The GNZS594K shale shakers will serve as the primary solids control stage, providing high-capacity cuttings removal with their four-panel design and adjustable G-force operation. Working together with the shale shakers, the GNZJ594K-3S16N mud cleaner integrates desilting and desanding performance, helping operators maintain stable drilling fluid properties in demanding well conditions.
To further ensure drilling fluid quality, the package includes the GNZCQ360 vacuum degasser, designed to effectively remove entrained gas from the mud before it enters downstream equipment. This enhances pump safety, improves mud weight consistency, and strengthens overall fluid handling efficiency.
Completing the system is the GNLW363D decanter centrifuge, widely used for low-gravity solids control and barite recovery. Its stable performance and automated control make it a preferred choice for deep and challenging wells.
This delivery once again demonstrates GN Solids Control’s capability to supply integrated, high-performance solids control systems to international drilling markets, supporting safer and more efficient operations across Europe.
