Recently, GN Solids Control announced the successful shipment of a customized 1,500 HP drilling rig-integrated solids control system for an African project.

   • Three GNZS594J-SHBJ shale shakers are included in the system. These shakers are used as the first step in mud treatment, effectively screening out large solid particles.
2. Vacuum Degasser:
   • The GNZCQ-1200 vacuum degasser is a key component in the system. It utilizes negative pressure to quickly remove various gases from the drilling fluid, helping restore mud weight and stabilize mud properties.
   • Technical specifications include a vacuum range of -0.02 to -0.04 Mpa and a processing efficiency of ≥95%.
3. Desander and Desilter:
   • The GNZJ591J-M2SF desander and GNZJ591J-M16NF desilter work in tandem to remove medium and fine solid particles from the mud, enhancing mud cleanliness.
4. Sand Pumps:
   • The system includes multiple sand pumps, such as the GNSB86J-750C, GNSB86J-550C, and GNSB4*3J-150C models, totaling 13 units. These pumps facilitate the smooth transportation of mud throughout the system.

   • The GNJQB6*5-750 shear pump is designed to improve mud fluidity and rock-carrying capacity.
   • The system also includes agitators in various sizes, such as the GNJBQ150G, GNJBQ110G, and GNJBQ055G models, totaling 10 units. These agitators ensure mud uniformity by preventing solid particle settling.
6. Decanter Centrifuge:
   • The GNLW363D decanter centrifuge is a high-efficiency equipment that further removes fine solid particles from the mud, enhancing mud quality.
